Recommendations for using Buzz and Bloom Clear Stamps
Buzz and Bloom's Clear Stamps are made from top quality photopolymer engineered to simulate the qualities of rubber, without the extra storage required and extra costs involved with mounted rubber stamps. Our clear stamps resist yellowing, remove easily from the clear backing, will adhere nicely to acrylic blocks, have a high image resolution, are durable and long-lasting, and are deeply etched like regular rubber stamps, giving a clear sharp stamped image. You will not need to permanently mount your stamps in order to use them. Simply peel your clear stamps off the plastic backing, place them onto an acrylic block, sometimes called a handle, ink your stamp and stamp onto cardstock or other surface. The see-through nature of clear stamps offers an added advantage, ensuring perfect positioning of the image every time. When you are finished using your clear stamp, peel it off the acrylic block and store on any hardened plastic surface, preferably away from direct sunlight and heat. Clean only with warm water and gentle soap, or stamp cleaning solutions and scrubbing pads that have been specially designed for use with clear stamps. DO NOT use cleaners such as StazOn Cleaner, which are designed for use with rubber stamps, on your clear stamps as they may cause damage.
